Mini Merdeka Day and Malaysia Day 2011 at Tadika Sri Kandi
Taska and Tadika Sri Kandi, Penampang hosted our Mini Merdeka Day and Malaysia Day 2011 on 20th August 2011, from 8.30am to 12.30pm. It was a day filled with fun and games, good food, happy children and parents, a fashion show and a magic show.
It was a colourful start to the day, most of the children came in their traditional dress. From Chinese attire, to Indian, Kadazan and even Korean costume. It was going to be a bright and fun-filled day.

The start of a colourful day

Singing NegaraKu, our national anthem
The day started with our students singing the national anthem and our school song. Then we organized games for all the children, and handed our school supplies to the children.

After a short break, where the children had their meals, we had a lucky draw where we gave out prizes to the the children. Everyone got a prize, from colour pencils to snacks. Prizes were also given out for the best Merdeka Day colouring contest.
Then it was time for the Magic Show, which is a favourite of all children, including the teachers! Sadly, the magic show was also the end of our Mini Merdeka Day 2011 event. And what a way to finish the day!
