Gong Xi Fatt Chai – Year Of The Dragon

Taska and Tadika Sri Kandi held our Chinese New Year celebration on 4th February 2012 at our Penampang kindergarten. Parents and pupils were invited to join in our Chinese New Year activity, which included lion dance, dragon dance and food.

The kids at Sri Kandi eagerly awaited the arrival of the Lion Dance. When the lion dance arrived, the children and parents were treated to a wonderful performance. The friendly lions distributed ang pows (red packets) filled with candy to all those present.

Many children took the opportunity to touch the lions as they pranced about in the compound of our kindergarten.
